I wanted to show off this antique rehal I bought at Le Stuff Antique Mall in downtown Hillsboro, Oregon. The rehal is a traditional folding stand used to elevate sacred texts during recitation. Carved from a single piece of wood, this piece incorporates floral and geometric motifs, showcasing the blend of Indian subcontinent craftsmanship and Islamic design traditions.
